The drum magnetic separator uses new type magnetic road constructrue and its drum surface magnetic induction strength far high general weak magnetic drum separators so may obtain tailing grade lower. There are two kinds of magnetic field, one is rotate type, the other is fixed type. The fixed type mainly uses wet magnetic separation mineral of strong magnetic in weak magnetic field or get rid of mineral of strong magnetic materials from non-magnetic material. The rotate type mainly uses dry magnetic separation mineral of powder which have strong(middle strong) magnetism.
